This Melbourne kitchen had no previous provision for a dishwasher and cabinetry modifications were required to make the space.
The two drawers below the sink were removed and new drawers fabricated to fit on the right hand side of the new dishwasher.
Our plumber installed a tee connection to the cold water supple, stop tap, pressure limiting valve and new waste trap with dishwasher connection. Our electrician installed a powerpoint for the dishwasher and Compliance Certificates were issued for the job resulting in a successful dishwasher installation
Old kitchens with narrow cabinets and benchtops typically do not suit the depth of modern sinks, cooktops, ovens and dishwashers. This old kitchen in Melbourne with 500mm deep benchtops and cabinets was replaced during the kitchen renovations with custom made 600mm deep cabinets and benchtop.
